Microsoft's Windows lover than we have got some exciting good news for you that the
Final Build of Windows 8 Operating System is not so far away.
Microsoft has already announced the
Release Date of Windows 8 OS which is
26th October, 2012 and
Windows 8 OS will be available for General Public as well as for Developers after 26th October, 2012 worldwide. Yesterday Microsoft has posted on its
Official Windows Blog that
Windows 8 has reached the RTM milestone and Windows 8 has been released to manufacturing (RTM) which means that Windows 8 product development and testing have started rendering to the final code of
OEM partners.
Windows 8 OEM partners will able to begin preparing new Windows 8 PCs and devices with integration of Windows 8 for General Availability. According to Microsoft if you're planning or going to buy a new PC or Laptop having
Windows 7 after
June 2nd, 2012 than you will be eligible to get an upgrade to Windows 8 Pro when the final version goes on sale on
26th October, 2012.

The
Mobile Operating System competition is yet to be begin because
Mozilla Firefox has also engaged itself into
Mobile OS market with the introduction of
Firefox Mobile OS,
Codenamed "Boot to Gecko", the Firefox OS operates on
HTML 5 which will allow web apps to make full use of the Mobile device’s hardware for better performing applications. Mozilla has just started Firefox OS in the form of beta testing and they are all set to take some market share from the
Apple iOS and
Google Android mobile operating systems.
Mozilla Firefox Mobile OS has first been made available for the tablets and smartphones and is available for testing on
Mac OS X,
Windows as well as
Linux machines.
According to Mozilla's spokesman Chung; Firefox OS is currently only available for Developers who wants to test their WebApps and for those who wish to help in testing, desktop builds allow looking for test plans as well as file the bugs.

Google's Chrome OS last year 2011 with

Chromebooks, the response from people was really great in terms of selling of
Google's and Samsung's Chromebook.
Google's netbooks had also got some amazing reviews from general public worldwide.
Google has now bounce back and announced the new, improved and updated
Chrome OS with the collaboration of
Samsung. Google and Samsung has already announced the two new Chrome OS products with the new
Samsung Series 5 550 ChromeBook and other is
Google's and Samsung's ChromeBox. The Google's ChromeBbox is a fast, compact home and office computer with the ability of multiple USB ports and versatile display options.

Microsoft has also released the
Windows Server 2012 Release Candidate for general public worldwide. Users now can
Download Windows Server 2012 RC version directly from Microsoft servers. The download links of Windows Server 2012 RC is live now and the
Operating System comes in two platforms,
64-bit (x64) ISO file and
VHD file of
Windows Server 2012 RC. The ISO File of Windows Server 2012 RC comes in several languages includes Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish, where else VHD is only available in English language.
Windows Server 2012 Release Candidate version is a preview of what the final version will offer but is not intended to replace your current OS on any production machine but if you can't wait for final version than you can install this on your machine.

Microsoft has officially announced and revealed its upcoming
Windows 8 Operating System
Stock-Keeping Unit's (SKUs),
Windows 8 Editions and
Windows 8 Versions details on their official
windows blog. Microsoft has now limited its
Windows SKUs as compare to its previous
Operating Systems I.E.
Windows 7 and
Windows Vista.
Microsoft Windows 8 will have the total of 3 SKUs Editions (or 5 SKUs if you count Enterprise and China specific editions). Microsoft has break its traditions of introducing way too many Versions, Editions and SKUs of Windows in past. For Windows 7 there were 6 versions to choose from, and the registry files included with the Windows 8 Consumer Preview suggested that was increasing to 9 SKUs for Microsoft’s next OS but now its official that Microsoft Windows 8 will have the total of 3 SKUs Editions only.

10 Years Old Windows XP to the latest
Microsoft OS Windows 7. Even though Windows XP is over 10 years old now but still
Windows XP is used by over 46 percent of PCs users worldwide as compared to the
Windows 7 OS which shares over 37 percent of worldwide users.

Windows 8 Consumer Preview beta version for general public users. The Windows 8 preview for consumers is now available for download directly from Microsoft Servers. Windows 8 consumer preview will represents the first look of

It’s always a big headache for users when they switch to the new
Operating System because they will have to switch and transfer their all personal data from one operating system to another, but

As we know
Nokia has already announced that they will teaming up with
Microsoft to build
Smartphone's based on
Windows Phone 7 Operating System. The two companies wants to enhance their partnership to the next level,
Microsoft says the strategic partnership will allow both companies to use their "complementary strengths" to create a new "global mobile ecosystem" which will almost certainly take Windows Phone 7 market share to a whole new level.
Nokia will make Windows Phone 7 their "principal smartphone strategy" (in other words, it's going to be their main operating system for all their phones) with plans to work in partnership with Microsoft on both software and hardware features. Nokia will make their primary OS for smartphones
"Symbian" OS as a "franchise platform", with MeeGo soon with an emphasis placed on longer term market exploration for next generation devices, platforms and user experiences.

Gartner Research about the
Worldwide Operating System Revenue and market share from companies and vendors, It has been declared that
Microsoft is still dominating in making of
Operating Systems for PC's, according to the amount of revenue it generates. Last Year in 2010 Microsoft had
$23.848 billion revenue from its
Operating System business, which gave it a 78.6 percent share of the entire worldwide OS market for that year.
