The
Mobile Operating System competition is yet to be begin because
Mozilla Firefox has also engaged itself into
Mobile OS market with the introduction of
Firefox Mobile OS,
Codenamed "Boot to Gecko", the Firefox OS operates on
HTML 5 which will allow web apps to make full use of the Mobile device’s hardware for better performing applications. Mozilla has just started Firefox OS in the form of beta testing and they are all set to take some market share from the
Apple iOS and
Google Android mobile operating systems.
Mozilla Firefox Mobile OS has first been made available for the tablets and smartphones and is available for testing on
Mac OS X,
Windows as well as
Linux machines.
According to Mozilla's spokesman Chung; Firefox OS is currently only available for Developers who wants to test their WebApps and for those who wish to help in testing, desktop builds allow looking for test plans as well as file the bugs.

Apple has launch the latest version of
iOS 5.1 for iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 (GSM or CDMA), iPhone 3GS, iPad 2 (Wi-Fi, GSM or CDMA), iPad and iPod Touch (4th or 3rd Gen.) devices, now Apple users can download and install iOS version 5.1 directly into their iOS devices without any further delay. We hope that the new
iOS 5.1 will support long battery life and has no further battery issues like previous iOS release had. According to Apple they have updated all possible issues and have error free user interface and functionality in iOS 5.1. The major change in iOS 5.1 is that now Japanese users will also have the opportunity to make Siri their virtual butler and other new changes are new "slide for camera" feature and other minor and big bug fixes.

According to the latest Sales Report from
IHS conducted competition between
Apple products in Q4 of 2011. It has been observed that tablet market is really going higher with the maximum revenue from Apple iPad and iPad 2 and also from Amazon's Kindle Fire tablet. But according to the report Apple's iPad is actually facing competition with its own sibling
iPhone in terms of most selling in Q4 of 2011. No doubt that Apple's
iPad generation tablets have beat Amazon's Kindle Fire in term selling but still it’s far behind as compare to Apple iPhone Smartphone.

Apple has officially released its much awaited
iOS 5, the latest and newest version of

Apple has finally announced its upcoming
iOS 5.0 firmware version for
Mac and
iDevices at annual
WWDC event.
Steve Jobs holds the mike to announce the new flagship of software suites for Mac and iDevices, Apple announced that to date, they have had more than
14 billion downloads, with over
90,000 iPad apps. They have paid developers more than
$2.5 billion dollars so far.
Apple started off the new feature list with notifications. Apple has removed the old notification popup system for a more inline notification system, making it less annoying when you're watching a video or playing a game. The 'notification center' will act similar to Android, where your menu swipes down, revealing alerts for all of your phone, messages, emails and more. The notification center is even on your lock screen too.

Microsoft is still dominating in making of
Operating Systems for PC's, according to the amount of revenue it generates. Last Year in 2010 Microsoft had
$23.848 billion revenue from its
Operating System business, which gave it a 78.6 percent share of the entire worldwide OS market for that year.

Microsoft has released the
Mac version of Office 2011 in trial format. The trial version lets you assess
Office for Mac 2011 for a 30-day period; once this period is over, you get the choice of uninstalling the program, buying the suite from a store or purchasing a product key online.
The 30-day period is half the length of time that Microsoft currently allows Office for Windows users to test out the Office 2010 suite, as they get a full 60-day test drive.

Google have launched its first of its kind
Cr-48 Chrome Notebook. The Cr-48 Chrome Notebook is the test notebook designed for the
Pilot program by Google.
Google will distribute the laptop through its Chrome OS Pilot Program, in a sort of public beta. You actually have to apply to join the program, and there are going to be a limited number of the laptops available.
