This summer,
Google+, the namesake social network of Google, turns one. The first anniversary of its 2011 launch fell during the
2012 Google I/O Conference, an annual event attended by over 6,000 developers. Previously, Google has launched big new projects at the conference including Google Maps and Chrome. This year, among its many announcements Google honored the first birthday of Google+ by showing off two new additions to the social network.
First,
Google announced that tablet apps for Google+ are on their way. Available for Android tablets and the iPad, the Google+ app will feature an animated stream, new tools for hangouts, and more. The release of these apps will significantly increase the mobility of Google+ and enable users to bring the social network with them wherever they may be.

Verified Facebook Accounts and Profiles for celebrities and individuals personalities. Unlike Twitter and Google+
Facebook will not feature any graphical symbol or text to be shown on Verified Facebook Accounts but it will provide more exposure and online presence to verified Facebook accounts holders. For every verified Facebook account holder it is necessary to use their real names when they sign up but it differs from those of Twitter and Google Plus in one major way that users will not see any kind of badge or any other graphic indicating that the account is verified or not.

YouTube design and has introduced more user friendly
YouTube UI Redesign, its a part of
Google+ project in which Google is changing UI of all its products. The new YouTube design is quite neat and clean as compare to its previous design which contains and focused more on two major colors Blue and White but in its new design

Google has finally decided to shut down its
Google Buzz project after introducing its social feature in February 2010. Google Buzz was one of the first steps of Google towards social networking arena and after learning the goods and bads from Google Buzz, Google launched its new Social Networking platform called Google+ in late June 2011, which is considering the one of the successor of Google in social networking arena.

Changing
Facebook’s millions of users to
Google Plus will extent, difficult to fight for giant search. Perhaps changing brand to Google Plus would be much easier if Google Plus is able to solve advertisers’ huge difficulties with Facebook like as post-click arrangement follow, paid search lack in efficiencies and specific customization.
Advertisers move paid media to their Facebook Pages they wanted to be in front of their audience, perhaps there is a bulk of imperfection in this plan. Without such information, we can only imagine whether media dollars are well spent.
