Web Browsers War between IE, Chrome and Firefox

The 2011 was the year to become the best Web Browser and the war was between the Microsoft's Internet Explorer, Google's Chrome, Mozilla's Firefox, Apple's Safari and Opera. According the statistics from StatCounter Global Stats report of Top 5 Best Browsers from Jan 2011 to Dec 2011, the Internet Explorer is still dominating the web browser war and has becomes the world's most use and popular browser of the year 2011, after IE Google's Chrome is leading the chart but with third spot and has beat the Mozilla’s Firefox market share in 2011, which is now holding the second place.

Google Voice Search and Google Instant Images Feature Launched

Google has recently launched its new search feature for Google Chrome users called Google Voice Search. Android users are very well aware of voice to enable Google Search feature because its self includes in Android-based Smartphones. According to the Official Google Blog, the company has just today enabled searching using its web site via voice for PC users. This new feature which is exclusively available for Google's own Chrome Web Browser at the moment. Users will be able to see a microphone icon on the Google Search button. Chrome users can simply click on it and speak their search phrase or terms (assuming they have a microphone installed of course). At the moment only English is supported by the new Google Search PC voice feature.

Google Announced New Chrome Logo

At Chrome 2nd anniversary, Google has officially announced that they are redesigning the logo of Chrome web browser. The new design of Chrome Logo seems to be look cleaner and seems to follow the Chrome idea of making things simple. This information will surely helps those who have been using the developer builds of Chrome or Chromium should have started to see it pop up.

According to Google's Chrome blog statement, the general consensus by Google was that a redesign was needed to show the true meaning behind Chrome, in which the new logo “embodies the Chrome spirit, to make the web quicker, lighter, and easier for all.”
